After establishing himself as a successful movie star, Steve McQueen bought a mansion in Malibu, California. His neighbor was Keith Moon, the drummer for the famous English rock band The Who. Moon led the same wild party life as many rock stars, which irritated McQueen, mainly because the drummer always left the bathroom light on. The light shone through Steve’s bedroom window, disrupting his sleep.
McQueen repeatedly asked Moon to be careful and turn off the bathroom light, but Moon continued to ignore his pleas. One night, McQueen grabbed a shotgun, leaned out the window, and shot the lamp.
