Sit down and I’ll tell you a story.
Iran came up with the Shahed 136 one use drone. This drone wasn’t particularly good at anything, certainly not better than anything else. But the Shahed is about the best there is for that price to produce them; $20,000 USD.
It was so cost effective that Russia started buying it, and building their own copy of it called the Geran-2. Not only did Russia import the Shahed, but they also imported parts from Iran to build their copy.
It was in Ukraine that the US got their hands on these drones, and were so impressed with its simplicity and functionality that the US then aslo copied the Shahed 136 and made their own called the LUCAS, which the Pentagon is able to buy for $35,000.
The LUSCAS went into service in July 2025 and were first used in combat on February 28th in the attack on Iran, the very people who designed them. Nobod knows how many were used but you can bet it was a hell of a lot of them.
Starting yesterday, March 11, Israel and the US have moved to wide scale drone attacks on individual regime members. They attacked gaurds at checkpoints in particuarl with drones.
