What did Christopher Nolan get wrong in his Batman films?

Ugh,I hate nitpicking on Nolan. I loved his trilogy but I do have to say what I feel he got wrong. First off,Batman….

The way his face looked with that mask plus the voice,it was hard to take him seriously. It felt like his nose was stuffed the whole time. This flaw becomes more evident in Dark Knight. Personally, with all the tech Fox has,he could’ve afforded a voice modifier. He didn’t have to growl.

Next,fight scenes.

Batman is very physical. As important as his values and mind are,so is his skill and strength. Let’s compare:

I am willing to bet that despite all objections we can all agree that Batflleck warehouse scene was probably the best fight scene in Batman film history. The fights with Bane and the others just seemed sloppy and lazy. It feels more like a street fight.

It leads me to next objection.

Now,don’t get me wrong,I think Tom Hardy did a great job. But Bane? Bane is both a physical and intellectual match for Batman. Which means that their battle needs to be epic. Bane is a force to be reckoned with,a conqueror….not a henchman. Which ultimately he turned out to be:

Bane’s battle with Batman was also far too realistic. In general Nolan relied far too much on realism. He wanted us to have a basically real world Batman but to ground a comic book superhero is to do him disservice. Ra’s al Ghul is much more formidable for example if you know he’s been around for 600 yrs due to a magical pit than just being a guy in the mountains, controlling a terrorist organisation that has vaguely plagued the world for a millenia. I am glad they threw out venom though. Still Bane was not a great choice for the final villain. Mostly due to Nolan’s style. After amazing Joker,we had a guy with a typical terrorist plot. A nuke set to go off. We gotta stop him!!! Plus his death scene was extremely ingnominious:

I personally understand that Nolan bet a lot of it on Joker returning prior to Heath Ledger’s tragic death but ultimately for his style,I think he should’ve gone with a more…..strategic and not so physical villain. Go with Riddler 😀

Or this guy:

So these are mostly the objections I have. I think his last movie left a lot to be desired.Cheers.
