I’m sure you’re familiar with actor Anthony Hopkins. Hopkins has had a long and varied career but is still probably best known for his iconic role as Hannibal Lector in Silence of the Lambs:
What Hopkins is less well-known for is the rampant alcoholism which affected him in his younger days.
“I’d drink a bottle of tequila and I didn’t care if I died. I loved tequila”.
In 1975, after quaffing too much of his beloved tequila, Hopkins woke up somewhere in Arizona with no idea how he got there. After this event he stopped drinking.
And you know what the alcoholic Hopkins said when looking back on his tequila-fuelled days?:
“I was very difficult to work with, as well, because I was usually hungover”.
A heavy drinker with lots of practice got hangovers from tequila.
I can only assume that you aren’t drinking enough tequila to get a hangover.
