A girl I had known for years was suddenly killed in a drunk driving accident. The day after her funeral, I get a call from her number, her cell phone. I answer, and hear, “Hi, I’m in the parking lot, can you see me? Let’s go out, I need to talk…” I look out my third story window over the parking lot, and there’s a girl down there
looking back up to me… it took me a minute. It was her sister, 2 yrs younger, but looking practically identical. If it wasn’t for her car, which was a different colour and make from her deceased sister’s car, I would have had a heart attack right then and there. So, not a text message, but a call from someone who had the same voice, and could have been the twin of a friend recently passed.
