Rhinos. They sport a layer of thick skin that acts as body armor. This layer of skin can make the bite of a lion look harmless. Their armor has even been said to be ‘semi’ bulletproof against low-caliber bullets.
They also have a robust horn at the end of its nose that can grow up to four feet long. The horn is made of keratin, the same material as our fingernails. This means the horn can withstand extreme amounts of pressure before breaking, and if it does happen to break, it will simply grow back. To make its weapon even deadlier, rhinos have powerful neck muscles capable of tossing around hundreds of pounds with ease. With a simple head tilt, it can easily rip through the body of a predator or a fellow herbivore.
Oh, and don’t think that just because they weigh over a ton, you could outrun them. Rhinos have been seen sprinting at over 30 mph. The fastest human the world has ever seen was clocked in at 27 mph.
