The most iconic — and youngest to die — was Zyzz.
Born Aziz Shavershian, this Australian bodybuilder and model was known more for his lifestyle and memes than he was for just his physique. He wasn’t the largest or most massive bodybuilder out there, but Zyzz had excellent aesthetics and was very proportional.
He was a skinny lad before and he sculpted himself, through years of hard work and copious amounts of steroids, into a Greek God. All he did after that point was party… party, chase girls, post memes, go to raves and discos and show off his physique. Among his catchphrases was “You mirin’ brah?” Like mirin-admiring. The persona was cocky, narcissistic, self-absorbed. But if you listened to what the guy actually said, it was fairly inspirational cookie-cutter stuff about living your best life and getting out of it whatever you could because of how short it was.
And Zyzz’ life was short — he died in 2011, at age 22. Having had a family history of heart problems, his health was worsened by the steroids and copious amounts of drugs and alcohol he consumed. The Australian party beast had a heart attack in a Thai sauna and died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.
