If scientists really were able to bring back the Velociraptor how much trouble and danger would humans be in?

Well, you’re talking about an animal about the size of a lot of dogs and equipped with about the same level of teeth and claws:

Actual size velociraptor. Note the feathers too. The Hollywood ones aren’t realistic.

A human is substantially bigger and stronger than an animal this size, but they could give you a nasty bite or scratch with those hind claws. Like dogs, they’d have to be working as a pack to actually kill a larger animal like a human.

Did you know that by some definitions humans count as megafauna? We’re actually quite big animals. There is a relatively short list of animals bigger than us, and that was true even with dinosaurs. Most dinosaurs were velociraptor sized or smaller. Connect with a good kick and you could really punt it. Scientists estimate a real velociraptor would only have been 7–15kg (15–30lbs). They were built light like birds.
