I don’t know how many people know this but tortoises are actually suprisingly aggressive. One of my baby tortoises who isn’t old enough to accurately determine its gender bites frequently. Here is photographic proof of the aggressive biting behaviour tortoises can display, its biting my wrist in the photo and took over 3 hours before the bite marks faded.
Then there’s the fact that some species of snake such as royal pythons who are so timid they actually curl up into a ball when scared. Here is my royal python demonstrating why they get called ball pythons since he is curled into a ball after a vet trip. It took 1/2 an hour for him to recover enough to uncoil.
