Many have already said the Olsen Twins, and I do not want to write about Lindsey Lohan. I will share the sad story of Bobby Driscoll, who was one of the most popular child actors of his time.
In the 1940’s, he was in several movies for Disney. (Peter Pan being the most iconic) He was abruptly (fired) from Disney in the 50’s because he entered Puberty. (Legend says he developed severe acne and the studios refused to put makeup to cover it up because it looked bad on camera.) He became ridiculed and teased for being a child star and his acting career was officially over. In 1968, he was found dead in an abandoned building in Manhattan after years of drug abuse. (His body was unidentifiable, so it took a year for coroners to even identify him.) His body was buried in an unmarked pauper’s grave in NYC’s Potter Field.
