In the year 2012, singer Janet Jackson married a Qatari billionaire named Wisam Al Mana. Before they tied the knot, Al Mana signed a prenuptial agreement. It contained two clauses:
- If the marriage lasted at least 5 years, Jackson would receive 100 million
- If she gave birth to the billionaire’s heir, she would receive another 100 million
- In 2016, Janet Jackson got pregnant. And in 2017, the year she and Al Mana completed five years of marriage, Jackson gave birth to a son, Eissa. Almost immediately after giving birth to their son, Jackson and Al Mana divorced — she received 200 million dollars for her efforts.
- Two hundred million dollars isn’t a bad deal for five years of marriage and a kid. She was already a millionaire many times over before her marriage, but after it she more than tripled her wealth and was set for life.
