Circa 2005, Newport Beach California, sitting in the bar at the resort, I’ll update this when I remember the name. A lady sits down two seats over and I instantly recognize her. But don’t say a word, she orders a White Russian and I look over a couple of times and nonchalantly say “your Reba McEntire, my wife loves your show” she says what about you, and I said, like I said my wife loves your show” she laughed and I asked if I could get a picture.
Like a dumbass I grabbed my camera, no phone cams back then and get ready to take a picture. She says don’t you want to be in it. I’m like uh um yes. She suggested we go in the lobby to get a better picture because of the lighting. We snapped several pictures and went back into the bar. Her boyfriend/husband showed up and they moved out to a table. I just remember her being super nice and very thoughtful.
Thanks for the upvotes. I went and found the picture, I can’t believe how incredibly huge I was back then. LOL. It was the St. Regis Resort.
