In March 1994 Ethan Morrison, 54 and Alice Patterson 46 mysteriously disappeared in the Chihuahuan Desert, Mexico while traveling to celebrate her pregnancy. Their last contact with their family was on March 15 when they confirmed they were safe before being cut off forever. After 13 years of fruitless searching in 2007 tourists found a skeleton tied to a giant cactus his body impaled on its thorns, along with his wife’s bloody pink blouse, found nearby. This horrific discovery revealed their disappearance to be a horrific crime but the exact circumstances and the true culprit remain a mystery to this day.
