Robert Gleason was convicted of murder in the state of Virginia.
He’d been sentenced to 100 years in prison.
While serving, he began filing complaints that his cellmate was driving him nuts and was clinically insane. Robert was a chronic complainer and not in a position to make demands.
Unfortunately, his ignored complaints led him to brutally strangle his cellmate to death.
He was eventually convicted of murdering his cellmate.
He told the courts he would continue killing men if they didn’t sentence him to death.
In the time between him saying this, and the courts deliberating on his sentence, he killed another inmate in his prison, reaching through a fence and strangling him.
In fairly quick fashion, the courts brought him in and sentenced him to death.
About a year after his sentencing, he was executed (this is a VERY fast turnaround in the U.S.).
He died via the electric chair per his wishes.
“Ask and you shall receive.”
