I went into Walmart, and when I came back out

Mateo Elijah

I went into Walmart, and when I came back out, my car door lock was frozen. So I went into The Home Depot, hoping they had some hot water I could use to unfreeze it. But the lady there was worried it might just freeze again. Then a kind man who worked there said they had a door lock defroster. He didn’t just get it for me—he actually bought it for me too!

And that’s not all.

The lady in the photo noticed my 2-year-old daughter was getting restless, so she came over and started chatting with her. She kept her busy and even tried to warm up her tiny fingers.

She also asked my daughter if she wanted to help ring up some items—which she absolutely loved!

This is what real customer service looks like. There are still kind people out there. From a thankful mom: you truly made a hard moment so much better.
