Beckett Burge, who has leukemia, is gaining attention worldwide after a photo showed him with his 1-year-old sister, who helped him fight cancer.
His little sister, just one year older, stood by him like a mother and never left his side during his illness. Her support touched people all over the world.
Beckett’s mother, Kaitlin Burge, said, “It was amazing to hear that the treatment is now finished. Beckett’s doctor said, ‘No more chemotherapy. We are done. The tumors are gone and the disease is over.’”
Kaitlin also said her daughter Aubrey acted like a mother throughout Beckett’s treatment. She loved spending time with her brother and played a big role in his recovery.
