Who is the least successful and/or talented child of a famous celebrity?

Below is a photo of Mel Gibson with one of his sons, Milo Gibson. Milo is one of the few children of the famous actor and director who followed his legendary father into the movie business by becoming an actor, albeit a not very famous or well-known one.

Now as luck would have it, Mr. Gibson is a blessed man — he has nine children, seven of whom are grow adults. Not an awful lot is known about most of them. One son is reportedly a carpenter with his own furniture business. Another son works behind the scenes of films, building movie sets. Gibson’s oldest daughter married a musician and had seven kids of her own. Other children are so low-key that nothing is known about them; they simply maintain zero social media presence whatsoever.

And I think the fact that so little is known about the Gibson kids speaks volumes to how well-adjusted they must be. Instead of raising a little army of “nepo-babies”, Mel’s children became normal, functioning members of society. Most of them are married, have families of their own and work pretty blue collar jobs. They don’t get into scandals, ever, aren’t checked into rehab or being photographed in compromising positions. No sex tapes, affairs, criminal acts. Just, silence. Perfect, blissful silence.

I think you could say that Mel Gibson’s children aren’t “successful” by the traditional metrics by which Hollywood measures success. No magazine covers, no major starring roles in big projects and Gibson doesn’t have a habit of making his sons or daughters the main characters of his films… they just, live their lives. Off-screen, away from the prying eyes of the public, like anyone else, really. A lack of success can paradoxically be the greatest success one could hope for, escaping a world of glitter and glamour.
