What was the best Beatles guitar solo and why?

This is probably going to upset people. Yet, the best Beatles guitar solo is, obviously and of course, in a song by The Beatles. But the solo is performed by someone other than George Harrison. The song is “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” and the solo is performed by Harrison’s freind Mr. Eric Clapton. Now this takes nothing away from The Beatles, their musical abilities nor their body of work. It’s simply an insignificant opinion from someone who never formally studied music. It’s an observation, don’t freak out.

And as to why?…it’s Eric Clapton.
