What did someone do in TSA/airport security that made you say “You gotta be kidding me”?

Mateo Elijah

I carry this X-ray around, there is a medical stamp with the date on the reverse side. This was actually meant to be helpful should the alarm go off in a store, which it always did in Payless Shoe Source and Walgreens. Had the plates in for a few years, the arm is not contorted. It looks this way because part of my right hip is in my left forearm. (I was hit by a car.)

The TSA woman was baffled by the buzzer going off. I showed her the X-rays, knowing that since 9/11 that was pointless, even though it worked fine with the buildings downtown.

Her confusion was actually why my arm was shaped the way it was, and how it wasn’t reflected that way on the X-ray. I actually had to explain to her that skin and muscle will not show up on an X-ray, but she still called another worker over.

I was on my way about three seconds later.
