George RR Martin recently shared a story about one of their scenes from the first season.
They were filming Khal Drogo and Danaerys’s sex scene.
While doing it, the actors had to pause because they heard the crew laughing.
To the side of them, were two horses that the Khal and Danaerys had been riding.
They’d begun to notice the lovemaking and one of the male horses had become quite “excited” by all the action.
Making it more funny—it was all on film, and this horse was, predictably, very well endowed.
To the disappointment of a few perverts—they had to go back and refilm the scene—with the horses moved out of the camera frame.
