Today, my wife asked me for a gift, saying that for Valentine’s Day

Today, my wife asked me for a gift, saying that for Valentine’s Day, she wanted a German Shepherd puppy.

She had been unwell for quite some time, suffering from a psychological illness. The doctor told her that she would never be able to become a mother, and that news broke her inside; she used to cry a lot about it. She had brought herself to the edge of despair because of that.

This morning, she told me very clearly that she wanted a German Shepherd, and I decided to buy her a puppy.

We went to a rescue team; our plan was simple: to bring home a small puppy.

There, we met Luna.

She was small, had a little ear, and her fur was a mix of brown and a bit of black. Her mother was sitting with her.

She was a perfect little thing, but as we picked Luna up and started to leave, her mother let out a sharp, painful cry.

It was not a growl, but a sound filled with sorrow.

The staff told us that little puppies get adopted quickly and grow up, especially the mother dogs. From her mother’s eyes, it was clear that she must have gone through tough times.

My wife noticed that the mother dog was sad to see her puppy go.

Seeing that, my wife started to cry as well. That was the moment we decided we would take them both.

So what did we do? We brought both of them to the car, seated the mother dog inside, and took Luna with her.

And we brought them both home.
