This brave DIPG warrior would be 23 years old today. Even at just 6 years old, Morgan was full of strength and determination in the most incredible ways. She refused to use a walker or wheelchair during her tough 20-month fight with brain cancer.

She was the perfect picture of a little princess—always wanting to dress up and throw fun parties. It’s easy to picture her now, using that same strength and energy at a new job, in graduate school, or planning a summer trip for her two younger brothers, who she loved so much.

At 6, this sweet “ladybug” filled the house with her drawings, making art her mission. Now, her family has taken on a mission of their own—to keep raising money and awareness for brain cancer research.

They support other families going through the same struggles, and they started our Virginia Chapter—one of the first—in Morgan’s name. Her family continues to share the lessons of strength and courage that Morgan taught everyone around her.

Happy Heavenly Birthday, Morgan. Your love and strength will never be forgotten.
