The new teacher at a girls’ school was very beautiful, just getting a little older but she was not married yet…
All the girl students used to make different guesses on seeing her. One day during a program, when the girl students were standing around her, a girl student asked her while talking that madam, why are you not married yet…?
The teacher said- “First, let me tell you a story. In the greed of having a son, a woman kept giving birth to five daughters continuously. When she became pregnant for the sixth time, the husband threatened her that if she had a daughter this time too, that daughter would be killed. I will throw her outside on some road or square. The woman started crying alone and prayed to God, because it was not in her control to give birth to a son as per her wish. This time also a daughter was born. The husband picked up the newborn daughter. And in the middle of the night, he put her on the square in the middle of the city.
The mother kept crying and praying for that little life all night. The next day in the morning when the father went to the square to see the daughter, he saw that the child was lying there. The father brought the daughter back home to keep her alive, but on the second night he again kept the daughter at the same square. Every day the same thing happened. Every time the father would keep the newborn daughter outside and when no one would take her, he would forcefully bring her back. . Even his father got tired one day and calmed down understanding the will of God. Then after a year when the mother became pregnant again, this time she gave birth to a son. But after a few days one of the six daughters died. Even the mother got pregnant five times and each time it was a son. But every time one of his daughters would leave this world.”
Tears started falling from the teacher’s eyes. She started saying further by wiping her tears.
“Now only one daughter was left alive and she was the daughter from whom the father wanted to save her life. One day suddenly the mother also left this world. Here five sons and one daughter all grew up slowly.”
The teacher again said- “You know, I am the daughter who survived. I haven’t married yet because my father is so old that he can’t even eat with his own hands and now there are more people in the house.” There is no one who can serve them. Only I serve and take care of them. The sons for whom the father was worried, those five sons live separately with their wives and children. Just coming occasionally to check on the father’s well-being. are asked.”
She smiled slightly. Then quote –
“My father now cries every day with shame and tells me, my dear daughter, forgive me for what I did to you in my childhood.”
