Gal Gadot is widely considered a beautiful and fit woman, but despite this, there was a lot of criticism as soon as she was cast as Wonder Woman because of her body.
She took it in stride, and she didn’t allow it to get to her and honestly, I don’t agree with those criticisms and am happy she spoke about those critics multiple times. I do understand that in the comics the character is sometimes portrayed as a buff woman, but most times she is a slim and fit woman:
The only problem I do see is that in the movies the Amazons were absolutely shredded while Gal wasn’t, but maybe we can put that on her being a demigod or something.
I still say I would have preferred Alexandra Daddario as Diana, but Gal is fine for what the movies are.
