I’ve been consistently undereating by at least 1000 calories every day for two years (mainly keeping to around 500-700 calories a day) and now I’m seeing/hearing/smelling things that aren’t there. Are they linked, or am I just going crazy?

So, you’re eating 500–700 calories a day?

OK, let me explain something. Bear with me, please… I promise there’s an answer to your question here.

See these folks here?

They are survivors of Hitler’s concentration camps. They were sent there to die. These were the ones they planned on working to death.

They fed them 500–700 calories a day, to speed up how fast they died.

You asked if your visual, auditory, and olfactory hallucinations may be linked to your diet?

I suspect they are. It’s called “your brain has not been getting the fuel it needs to function properly”.

At the risk of sounding more harsh than I want, you are dying. You are starving yourself literally to death.

If you don’t take your symptoms as a great big warning, complete with flashing lights, sirens, and dancing girls with signs saying “You’re killing yourself”, then, you’re going to die from this.

Please, and I beg you sincerely, Go to your doctor and tell the doctor your symptoms and tell the doctor you’ve been starving yourself!

Please, please, please… you need help. You don’t need the opinions of some schmucks on the internet (like me). You need a medical professional.
