The other thing too is that the entire brown bear species is bred to fight—a lot.
They have all sorts of moves that make them look like olympic wrestlers when they fight.
They have a high pain tolerance that causes their fights to go on and on.
The reason they have such loose fur is to help for fights against other bears. When they get bit, the loose coat allows them to still pivot inside of the coat and fight back, and not get its fur ripped off.
There’s a long list of reasons that fighting a bear would go very, very poorly for you.
