He hasn’t acted in any role, play or movie for nearly a decade.
In fact Charlie Sheen’s last role was a minor part in 2017. After that, nothing. He’s been sober for eight years now. Hasn’t had a drop of liquor since, or partaken in drugs. He’s no longer the promiscuous beast he once was, either, as he disclosed his HIV positive status and that’s not the sort of situation most potential lovers are enthusiastic about…
Sheen is sober now. But his career is dead in the water. He had a custody battle with his latest ex-wife (Brooke Mueller) over their two sons — she was in and out of rehab, in worse shape than Sheen herself — and another ex-wife, Denise Richards, ended up taking care of his sons by the wife after her. Meanwhile Sheen ran through his money. And his oldest daughter by Richards, desperate to make a quick buck, joined OnlyFans the day after she turned 18. This isn’t the sort of place where a man, especially a father, would like to find himself at sixty. But this is where he’s at. Not quite rock bottom, but about as near to it as he could get.
And yes, Charlie Sheen just turned 60 a few days ago. Released a memoir to celebrate the fact — he hadn’t expected to make it to sixty, and neither did his family. His career is dead, Hollywood will forever see him as a liability, but as dead as his career may be, Sheen is alive and relatively well… against all odds.
