Do any celebrities call out other celebrities for being terrible people but keep their names anonymous?

According to Beatles lore, when John Lennon and Yoko Ono revealed their romance to the public and John moved out of the Weybridge mansion he shared with his wife and son, they stayed for a time with Paul McCartney at his home on London’s Cavendish Avenue.

By this time, of course, McCartney was beginning to suspect Yoko might eventually adversely effect the fortunes of The Beatles. And while he wasn’t necessarily trying to initiate a breakup between John and Yoko—well, he decided he wouldn’t be too terribly upset if it were to happen naturally.

So after John and Yoko had been McCartney’s houseguests for a week or two and showed no real inclination to pack up their bags and vamoose, Paul decided to take a firm grasp of the situation by—get this—leaving an anonymous note on the bed his two houseguests were sharing.

According to Beatles legend, the anonymous note read, “You and your Jap tart think you’re hot shit.”

Well, although the note did not include a signature, John and Yoko were able to determine its source fairly quickly. So they packed up in a huff, stormed out, and went to live in a rental apartment owned by Ringo.
