An elderly woman was with her grandson

An elderly woman was with her grandson on the beach when a huge wave hit and took the boy out to sea. He was struggling to make it back, but the current kept dragging him farther away. Frantic, she started digging through her purse for her phone. The next thing she saw was a man running along the pier. He dove into the water at the end and swam out to the boy and carried him to the shore. He had been out walking with his wife and two-year-old when he saw what happened, and he “did what anyone would do.” (she used her phone to get these two photos)
